my trouble with english.......

The last few days i have been pondering on what could be the possible reason behind the large number of grammatical mistakes i make while speaking english.
I realised this when i found difficulty in forming complete sentences without grammatical errors. As i type this blog i realize that its not just the grammatical errors, i'am not confident about my spellings either. This was not the case before.(i mean my school days).Could this be because of the lack of writing practice?i blame my engineering course for that!!.But when i analyze this problem in depth ,i can point out more than one reason for this.

In school, my teachers were fluent in english,unlike the lecturers i presently face at college. Two consecutive years of their lectures can make anyone forget their english.Let me give a feel of the classes i attend,daily!!
design:-(a session on 'reliability')all the lecturer talks about is apples and mangoes, at the end of one hour all of us are left wondering as to what has ‘reliability’ to do with
apples and mangoes. And god save us 'the langauge', even a person not fluent in english would find that all words used in the sentence follow a random order.You might need to program yourself to understand as to whats going on!!
-electronics(a subject which tops the 'bouncer'list):-here the lecturer uses so many "is'nt it" that by the time the student locates the subject hidden in between the ocean of"is'nt it's" the class comes to an end.so i think the qoute"i was intelligent,education ruined me"
holds good for me..
And with regard to my spellings, i use so many abbreviations while chatting on the net ,i dont even spare the smallest word. (even in this case I’am not the person to be blamed……it’s the need for speed…can’t waste precious internet hours)
Now coming to why this sudden realization.the answer ...
The genuis brain i house within, thinks that the american universities need to be graced by my presence, and my research work is going to change the world.....still din't
get it......its GRE..
