couples not allowed..........

'only couples allowed' this statement i guess we are familiar with considering the fact that they are one of the 'must' sentence's in many 'party' advertisements which come in the newspaper.....

so the other day when a whiteboard read the following statement in bold black letters -->'couples NOT allowed' ,i actually re-read that to confirm if my eyes were not assuming things.

and this whiteboard was placed outside a internet cafe!!!lol.....

(what,why,......left to the imagination of the reader!!)

For those who are not aware of what a mini taxi is,it is a extended version of an auto,has three wheels, can accommodate six people at the rear end and two more in the front excluding the driver.Actually the number of people it can accommodate depends on the driver and his mood...it can even go upto 15,dont ask me how....

i owe a lot to this mode of transport.Two semesters of first hour attendance at college all thanks to the 'mini taxi' travel!!.
Unlike the bus(public transport) here the guy respectfully invites you,and also an added attraction is the music player which this taxi houses even though mostly what it plays would be Himesh Reshamiyya crap.Actually it was during one such travel that i was inspired to write a testimonial for a friend who is a hardcore reshamiya fan. :P

These mini taxi's become mini libraries when it is exam time ...because it is during this travel to college when the topper's notes is given a last minute glance to crap something in the exam.

These taxi's also provide the opportunity to meet awesome looking guys(the last stop being hi-tech city..(read:i never really cared..was too busy with i-pods/head phones....one of my many repentances)

Last but not the least the taxi driver always drops you inside college right in front of your block!!who would do that??that too at the nominal charge of a bus ticket...blah a rupee more!! :-P

this phase in life

-okay fine!!!..i fell off a chair in front of my entire class!!(not my fault..a gal had moved the chair out..)
-this xyz bringing out her own range of designer clothing.(in anycase how rich are these ppl!!!)
-marriages,commitment issues and more of that crap...(the long story ....)
-some pranks....(way too censored....)
-the foodies!!!
-a (fukad)tropical iceberg on the house!!!(has this ever happened....nice..)..
-a jalak of the doc and her diagnosing skills ...(read:very impressive)

The last week i spent most of my time reading my slam book and on self analyzation.
My friends and some not really 'friends' have been kind enough to fill in the 'lines for you' column...

these are the jist of adjectives i got-(dunno how much of it is true...whtevr...)

-cute chik and a nightingale when it comes to singing

my take on this after some self analyzation

-positive attitude---->this is something i RARELY reflect.
-dependable--->well that i am!! :-)
-cute chik and a nightingale when it comes to singing -->ROFL!!!the person has been way too kind and generous!!(i would have considered 'sarcastic' but he is way too sweet n not th sarcastic kinds...)
-innocent(read dumb)--->well to sme extent true!!! :-( (and dumb would be in cases where i totally trust the wrong ppl!!)
-simple-->guess that i am!! :-)
-grt singer--->i really wish i can overcome my laziness and put some blood for my singing!
-half cracked,need to improve mindset to survive-->half cracked...ya totally!!! ;-) ...and abt my mindset--- i dont believe being cunning,lying at the cost of someone for self gain(not that i am a total satyavadhi or something),throwing a false attitude trying to act like someone you are not,showing total indifference and behaving irresponsibly is something you need to survive....

i agree i have faced tough times(and did lose some very important things) the last few months thanks to being simple,straight forward ...i actually started cursing myself for not being cunning and self centered... but at the end of the day when people actually came up and thanked me for my presence and said it made a biig difference to them(i agree this can never make up for wht i lost!!)it still made me realise you can still achieve things by being the way you are!!...and maybe a lil more hard work,dedication and caution when you trust people should do the trick!!and well if you still dont make it....thats ok!!!..its not the end of life!!!......

-and abt the cool,fun company to be with,friendly,cute,caring and understanding--->i cant really judge this!!
